Eisai, Gates Ventures, Health Data Research UK (HDR UK), LifeArc, and The University of Edinburgh have made an announcement regarding a new collaborative research agreement.
The collaboration, named NEURii, is a pioneering initiative that harnesses the power of collaboration across various domains, including therapeutics, technology development and commercialisation, health data management, and advanced analytics/data science. By combining these different areas of expertise, NEURii intends to predict, protect, and promote brain health through the development of data and digital solutions.
This collaborative research agreement is a significant step to improve the diagnosis of dementia and develop effective solutions for individuals at risk of developing the disease.
The NEURii collaboration aims to leverage the expertise and capabilities of its partners to create an exciting platform for the development of transformative digital products. By combining their unique perspectives and knowledge, the collaborators aspire to address the persistent challenges associated with dementia and neurodegenerative conditions. NEURii enhances the existing treatment options for patients and address the challenges related to the prediction, prevention, management, and treatment of dementia-related disorders.
